If a highly dedicated minority becomes highly organized and well led-(like Lenin in Russia)-then we may survive. However, for historical reasons I doubt that will occur. I am not optimistic.
What does benefit us: the future of warfare is with autonomous machines, image processing algorithims, signal processing calculus, APM--atomically precise manufacturing all benefiting smaller populations.
None of which can be created by, I don't care how many billions ya got, 75-95 IQ people.
