Confirmed – Philando Castile Was an Armed Robbery Suspect
conservative treehouse ^

The Falcon Heights, Minnesota police shooting of Philando Castile is based around an entirely false narrative. Castile and Ms. Diamond Reynolds (Facebook video uploader) were pulled over by police because Castile matched a BOLO Alert for an armed robbery suspect from four days prior.

Unfortunately, the false statements in the video – which have gone viral, and are being pushed by the mainstream media – have created a backlash against police officers.

The TV station was wrong: “According to a question presented to the local county sheriff who oversees the Concealed Carry Permit process, Mr. Castile had never requested a concealed carry permit from their office”

No, they aren't. You don't understand the process.

In MN, you apply for a CCW permit at the local sheriff's office. The statement you quote is from the Ramsey County Sheriff, where the shooting occurred.

But, Castile lived in Minneapolis at one time (Hennepin County). The TV station asked THAT sheriff's office, and found they had issued a CCW.

Look, I know this destroys the narrative that so many people were clinging to, but this was likely a miscommunication between Castile and the officer, because Castile happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Now, perhaps Castile actually robbed the convenience store. But, that's extremely unlikely among CCW/CHL holders.

Philando? Was that a tribute to his unwed mother’s boyfriend?

Outright fantasy on your part.

I lived in the middle east for a while during the nineties.

The vast majority of them are sincere Muslims honest with themselves enough to concede that the good things they do don’t even dent the scales against the bad. Martyrdom offers them the only possible way (within Islam) to paradise.

I want to know more about the police officer who shot him. And his story of what occurred.

Just like Michael Brown, it doesn’t matter if he was a terrible role model - he was a convenient pretext to kick of the latest round of pre-planned political street agitation.

just had a thought. If the cop thought he had a potential armed robbery suspect, I would think, standard procedure would be to call for and wait for back up before even getting out of his vehicle and approaching.

Thanks. I do think the cop knew he effed up right there. I just don’t buy the woman’s story, and, with it, the guy’s, as a result.

It’s mostly the woman’s I don’t buy.

The Heros of the Black Power movement are total LOSERS. Can’t their anointed leaders find a black Hero who has no criminal record, gang banger, welfare, ghetto low life.

Hey, black friends, next time a leader wants you to march, flip them the bird,

Tell your black leader,

You do not follow LOSERS anymore!

"He could have pulled his weapon and told him to put both hands out the window and get out on the ground..."

Then his gun that was laying on his lap would have had to go somewhere...fallen as he got out of the car, or the girlfriend would have retrieved it.

Sounds like incomplete training to me...with horrible consequences.

Well the Cop that shot him was Hispanic, so perhaps he was an affirmative action hire.

"Did the dead guy have a CC permit as his “girlfriend” so loudly proclaimed?"

Since he was stopped at least 31 times over the past 14 years for speeding, driving with a revoked license, no proof of insurance, improper display of original plate, and parking violations, I highly doubt he went to the trouble of getting a permit to conceal carry. And who drives around with a gun on your lap? Someone who's looking for an opportunity to use it.

Guy matched the description of the armed robber (I saw the pictures of both and up close they aren’t a match).
The guy supposedly has a gun in his lap.

What is the cop thinking at this point ?

If the cop thought he had a potential armed robbery suspect, I would think, standard procedure would be to call for and wait for back up before even getting out of his vehicle and approaching.

I think that's a good question, but the police scanner recording (if it's legitimate) indicates that he was only going to do an ID check based on the resemblance of Castile to the suspect.

Also, there were actually two officers in the patrol car. So, he wasn't alone.

Or, you could have read up-thread and seen that he did indeed have a CCW permit, issued when he lived in Hennepin County.

Thanks, I really do try to make sure I am factually correct which is difficult to do when the facts of horrible and tragic case are constantly evolving.

But please consider this. We have this direct quote(see below) from Hillary Clinton in an interview she gave this week which confirms what we already long suspected that she deliberately stirs up conflicts to anger her base and goad them into voting for her.

“Constant conflict is actually often good politics, because the more you can inflame your supporters the more likely they are to show up at Election Day,”

Hillary and her media allies are taking these tragic shootings and fabricating false and misleading narratives with the intent to inflame the Black community and goad them into conflicts with police and white society.

The medias irresponsible, agenda driven reporting based on misleading and fabricated story lines and intended to inflame the black community has resulted in the shooting of at least 15 police officers(it's hard to keep track as the police body count seems to rises by the hour) and destroyed the hopes, dreams and lives of the officers, their families in addition to the lives of the the shooters and their families

They have a saying that a lie can run around the world twice before the truth can even get it's shoes on. In this case, the mounting death toll caused by media's lies provides a sense of urgency to counter those lies and get the truth out.

A take away lesson is that the media and the pundits should let the police do their work and keep their darn mouths shut until the investigation is finished and the facts are known.

If the media had been more concerned with reporting the truth instead of manufacturing a false narrative to inflame black voters in order to help Hillary Clinton get elected President a lot of innocent lives would have been saved and the lives of their loved ones would not have been ruined.
