Nevermind the widespread black-on-black carnage in Chicago, let’s concentrate on a few white rogue cops that murdered a black choirboy in Baton Rouge. Certainly, that’s where the media’s attention is.

Want peace and quiet in Chicago, Rahm? Then arm anyone who pays taxes in the city (and Cook County). Then put a no limit bounty [dead or alive, preferred dead] on thieves, thugs, dope dealers, and assorted other vermin. Drop ‘em off at the local police station where the cops will give the victorious hunter of these vermin a 100 rounds of free ammunition of their choice. Then dispatch them out to collect more vermin. There is an unlimited bag limit for vermin.

I live in Wheeling, IL. Although Chicago’s elections are nonpartisan, the majority of Chicago voters know the candidates’ parties. The last time Chicago elected a republican mayor was 1927. If they had a conservative and/or republican mayor, the mayor would encourage law-abiding people to own guns and defend themselves from criminals. When the criminals think that their victims might shoot back, the crime will decrease. I hope that, during Chicago’s 2019 elections, the voters will learn from their mistakes and elect more conservatives.

Think about what the writer is really saying here.

We don't have much of a police presence in my town. Everybody has guns. Apart from a love triangle murder in 2009, the last murder was 1961.

The absence of proactive policing in my town has not "unleashed mayhem", in fact, life is quite pleasant.

Now, why has a retreat from proactive policing "unleashed mayhem" in Chicago? Are people angry because they don't see police officers? Is the lack of policing making them do things they don't want to do, like shooting each other?

Of course not. The mayhem is latent in the residents of this unhappy city, and in order for it to stop the leading offenders need to be jailed or killed.
