Gen Petreus is like “what the fu$&??!?!?
He should sue the DOJ for malicious prosecution, given this development. What he did was FAR less egregious.
This (the Clinton outcome) wasn’t unexpected at all though. I don’t know why anyone on FR would be surprised by this not because of simple cynicism but the DOJ said back in FEBRUARY that they had no intention of prosecuting even if the FBI recommended charges be brought.
Everything, including Trey Gowdy’s congressional sideshow, that happened after that was all a sham, pure and simple. I’ve been saying since then she wouldn’t get indicted. Everything since the DOJ announcement was just to cover everyone’s you know what at every level of this “investigation”. Now everyone involved can say “we tried” and go home with their pensions intact.
