Newt would be the worst pick he could make.
Newt’s problem is that he loves the sound of his own voice, so he talks and talks and talks until he stumbles upon something worth saying. unfortunately, in the process, he has liekly also said 3 or 4 things he should have kept in his head.
smart guy, but he’s been corrupted by DC and the need to be “liked” by the powers that be. he’s gone wobbly on too many issues since the early 90’s.
