Pat Buchanan: GOP Elites Not Attending Convention Because Trump’s ‘Insurrection’
Breitbart ^ | July 3,2016 | by TONY LEE

Posted on 07/04/2016 10:09:36 AM PDT by Hojczyk

When host Michael Smerconish mentioned on his Saturday CNN program that the party’s last two Presidents—George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush—and presidential nominees—Mitt Romney and John McCain—will not be attending this year’s convention in Cleveland, Buchanan said the reason the elites and the “leadership of the party and the old leadership of the party is not showing up is because Donald Trump, the nominee, is conducting an insurrection against those individuals and against the policy they produced, on trade, immigration and foreign policy.”

“If Donald Trump wins this election, he is going to take the country in a new direction,” he said. “He’s running an insurrection against the political, corporate, and media elites in Washington, D.C., and he’s running an insurrection against the Republican elites, and he has succeeded.”

Buchanan said the insurrection is “populist, patriotic, ethno-national” and a form of “economic nationalism.”

“And that’s not the defining philosophy of the incumbent Republican Party of Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney,” Buchanan added.

Buchanan said “one of the major things that’s in the hearts and minds of” of working-class voters “is that we have had it with the political media, corporate elite in the nation’s capital, let’s go for somebody who will really give us real change. And even though I’ve got doubts about this fellow Trump, I think that he will do that.”

We should send thank you notes to the Illuminati branch of the Republican Party. They’re self-purging from the Republican Party. So much better than having to take out the garbage ourselves!

They aren’t “Republicans”, and they never were.

So they aren’t the “elite” anymore. Just a bunch of loser outsiders, whose gig of kicking their own supporters was exposed and ended.

By one guy.

He nailed it.

What a novel idea! Hope so because both parties have trashed it so bad it needs a total makeover. Trump can do it.

The GOP elites aren’t attending the convention because there’s no GOP candidate in this election. This is a Democrat vs. an Independent, for all intents and purposes.

Bushes, Romney and McCain not attending is an outstanding endorsement for Donald.

The only thing better than this development would be that these aholes announce they are joining the democrat party which is here they belong.

There’s an old saying which exists for a reason. “Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer.”

These who withdraw are those who will secretly undermine what needs to be done. They have an agenda and even tho it may need to be put on the back burner for a bit, that agenda will continue on the sidelines.

I am so glad these men never became president, and hope they never do.

Anymore, the difference between the party elites has been the time table to the goals.

Democrats want to ram socialism down our throats quickly. When we gag, they back off, but only for a bit, only until we stop gagging.

Republican elitists want to feed us socialism slowly, in bite-size pieces. The goal is the same, they are just being gentle about it.

Trump’s insurrection is all about the fact that we don’t want a socialist dystopia, whether it’s thrust upon us violently or gently pushed at us until our resistance fades. We want a country where all are equals before the law, not where elites live in fortified castles while the masses swarm outside.

And when Mr Trump takes control of the Party in a couple weeks, he should BANISH THEM ALL FROM THE PARTY

Daddy Bush “no new taxes”, Dubya “no WMD, bailouts” McCain Mr.Amnesty, Romney Willard the Rat for attacking like his father before him the GOP nominee.

They really stayed at the Party too long. They are welcome to stay home. Goes double for “I don’t care about my Vows, promises, oaths, pledges, no way I am not going to stand up for my Wife’s Mexican people.

I have a middle finger salute for these rats Republicans against Trump

The first George Bush was Reagan’s biggest mistake

Should have dumped him in 1984

And we have been paying for Reagan’s mistake ever since.

Bush probably convinced Reagan to do amnesty.

>>They aren’t “Republicans”, and they never were.<<

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Globalist traitors hijacked Republican Party and (temporarily) fooled its voters.

Globalist traitors hijacked the word “Conservative,” pretending that an America-first foreign, immigration and trade policy is somehow liberal. This is a SICK JOKE.

It has often been pointed out that many neocon luminaries were former Marxists. NOW WHAT COULD THAT MEAN, eh? Maybe they have always been and continue to be Fabian socialists—known for denying their true identity.
