I am totally opposed to legalizing pot. But one thing is for certain. If this does pass it’s going to kill the pot side of the drug trafficking trade and all of the crime and violence that goes with it.

The smugglers will have to find something else to bring across the border that government has banned, possibly incandescent light bulbs or plastic bags.

They will. I bet there’s already been some shift in substances. Look at the news stories out there now about heroin, etc. in the suburbs

Will the government be selling to kids, or will they have to get their dope from biker gangs like usual?

There will be labs processing cannabis into wax and shatter and fluid for e-cigs, don’t worry.

The Mexican pot cartel is buying up houses in states like Colorado and turning them into grow houses filled with marijuana plants. They have already adapted to our wonderful new laws.

It MAY possibly reduce “crime and violence”, but there will always be those who don’t have money and don’t want to work but WILL rip off the growers they know of for their drugs and cash, and then there’s plenty of growers who will fight back. There’s plenty of people (gibs-me-dats) who have their every need taken care of who still feel the need to steal.

They are. A lot of the cartels in Mexico are turning to heroin. Cheaper, easier to transport, people who want it, REALLY WANT IT...
