Senator Admits The FBI Is "About To Ask Putin For His Copies Of Hillary's Emails"
ZeroHedge ^ | July 3, 2016

Posted on 07/03/2016 10:43:30 AM PDT by Zakeet

It is well known that the FBI still does not have roughly 30,000 emails that Hillary Clinton deleted from her private server due to Clinton categorizing them as personal and not work related. We have also reported that Russia may be in possession of those emails, and according to Judge Andrew Napolitano, there is a debate going on in the Kremlin about whether or not to release them.

Given that the FBI still doesn't have the emails, Arkansas Republican Senator Tom Cotton (of the US is "under-incarcerated" fame), who is a Trump supporter and also serves on the Senate Intelligence Committee, has become so frustrated that Cotton suggests the FBI is about to ask Putin for his copies. Cotton also took a jab at Bill Clinton's meeting with Loretta Lynch, saying that his plane was also on the tarmac, and he thought Bill Clinton may be waiting to climb on board to talk with him as well.

As Breitbart reports:

A combat veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, Sen. Thomas Cotton (R.-Ark.) said he was glad to make it on time for his speech after a series of travel delays.

"We were on the tarmac, I thought Bill Clinton might be boarding my plane to talk to me," said the former Army Airborne Ranger officer.

Cotton said it was shocking, but not shocking to him, that the former president would meet with Attorney General Loretta Lynch - whose department is investigating both his wife and himself for his handling of the Clinton Foundation.

Clinton's decision to conduct all her official business on her own private email account on her own private server and the way she has handled official and media inquires about it was just teaser of how her administration will approach transparency and national security, Cotton said.

The FBI still does not have 30,000 emails the expected Democratic nominee for president claimed to have deleted.

"It has gotten so bad, the FBI is on the verge of asking Vladimir Putin for his copies of Hillary’s emails," Cotton said.

In addition to the criminal nature of the former first lady scheme, he said, conducting official and classified business on an unsecured server exposed American national security to our enemies.

Americans should not be surprised that the former secretary of state would put America at risk, he said. Working with President Barack Obama, Clinton oversaw a foreign policy that treated allies as troublemakers and our enemies as victims with legitimate complaints about the United States. Chief among the enemies is the Islamic Republic of Iran, which Obama-Clinton empowered by lifting sanctions, thawing frozen assets, and ignoring Iran's support of violent terrorism.

* * *

Truth be told, it may not be a bad idea.

“”””Putin would still rather have Trump. Putin can deal man to man with Trump. Hillary’s a flaky female loose cannon, just look what she did to Libya and Syria. “”””

Putin knows that the hildabeast would sell him out in a minute to the highest bidder. I believe he would rather deal with a leader like Trump.

Wouldn’t it be really nifty if Putin has already given the e-mails to Trump and tells the FBI to get them from Trump?!!

I am impressed with of Senator Cotton,(who believes we should be putting more criminals behind bars and also a Trump supporter). He may be the person who will help President Trump make America Great Again as VP.

“very damaging disclosures about how she used the government to enrich herself and her hubby. “

Ah. No

Whatever needs to be known about Hillary is out. And since 1991

Nothing she has done or will do will deter her supporters. They are like the clintons. The clintons are their royalty. And they will be defended in the public forum.

It comes down to this: Would Putin rather have a compromised Hillary in the Oval Office, someone on whom he’s got the goods, or a bold and difficult negotiator like Trump? I say Putin stays out of it.

In ordinary times I would agree with you. But the UniParty is desperate to start a war between NATO and Russia as a diversion from our financial collapse and to inflate away our national debt. Putin has repeatedly avoided direct confrontation with the West while warning us against crowding Russia's national borders. A Clinton presidency would hasten such a war and thus render Hillary's emails worthless.

Donald Trump is the only presidential candidate urging open and friendly diplomatic and traded relations with Russia. If Putin decides to show his hand with Hillary's emails, it will be to block Clinton and therefore help Trump. But not yet!

Were Hillary's emails to surface too soon, the Democrats will replace Hillary with a more viable candidate. But if those emails show up in August, the Democrat nominee will be utterly screwed. Let the witch stew, and let her be nominated. And let the Democrats drown while lashed to her mast.

Putin will hand over “most” of them. He’ll say it’s “all” but keep a few of the best in case she’s elected. And accidentally meet Bill on a plane some time to let him know he saved Hillary by not giving the ones that would put her in prison to the FBI (for now at least).

ahahah

love Yoda, do I

However, I don’t thin Putin is scared of anyone in the US - nor do I think anyone in the US is likely to scare him in the coming future

Putin doesn’t suffer fools gladly - and he is definitely not afraid of the One-Worlders...

It seems to me that, although the NSA collects everything, they don’t share it with anyone. If they did there ought to be a lot fewer criminals on crime sprees and making escapes across the country or out of it.

No. This is a ploy to find out what the Russians really have. Hackerland rumor is they have every email that ever crossed the Killery server.

What you say may have merit. Though I’m not sure how much weight I give to “desperate to start a war between NATO and Russia.” But yes, it is true that wars generally do tend to pump up an ailing economy.

That Putin would prefer “working with” a friendlier, pragmatic Trump rather than even a compromised but wholly untrustworthy Clinton (both of them) is what strikes a chord with me. Putin may be - ok, is - a scoundrel but one thing for sure is that he loves his Mother Russia and wants to advance her interests in all ways possible. Advancing those interests would be a lot more attainable with the revitalization of the Russian economy that cutting “deals” with Trump could provide. And dealing with Trump would likely enhance Russia’s bargaining position with Europe as well.

In any event, I’d rather have Putin cooperating, to further Russia’s interests, with the USA and the West than to have him working with China.

Well-connected people (aka Trump) likely know whether or not Russia - and other players - stole emails and other data from Clinton’s illegal server. Trump may well be figuring that Putin or Wikileaks or somebody will leak enough evidence to sink Hillary. Perhaps not to sink her legally but enough to run her election bid into the ditch.

Let me clarity: I don’t think Trump cutting “deals” with Russia can solely revitalize the Russian economy but would certainly be a boost in that direction.

OTOH, Putin may want a partner in the war against the Muslims. He can't want a Muslim Europe next door, that would be a powerful enemy, and America would be Muzzie-friendly with Clinton in charge. European tech coupled with jihad would be bad news.

But....if he helps Trump win, he will have a friend in Trump. Trump won't let him get away with everything, but he will be willing to work with him as a respected world leader. That may be better for Russia in the long run. Putin is smart enough to think long term strategy.
