Yes, it could be trouble if he’s perceived as the white knight riding in at the last minute. However....even with just a short time left until the general election, Biden is a gaffe machine unlike any other and is capable of self-destruction if allowed to speak without a teleprompter every minute. I don’t think he would do well in a debate with Trump. Just my humble opinion.
