There is an epidemic of opioid related drug overdoses, many of the victims started their path towards death trying to reduce pain. Physicians should focus on those issues instead of trying to use their position to advance liberal anti-gun and anti-freedom efforts.
And how many people have doctors killed by accident or incompetence?

Statistically, whose chances of being killed are higher ... a gunowner, an unarmed citizen confronted by a thug (ghetto or otherwise), or a fetus?

The doctors pushing for gun control should be pushing for doctor control, because their mistakes and carelessness kill more than 20 times as many people as firearms do. Applying their nonsensical logic to themselves would mean that doctors had to fill in a form to show that they washed their hands twenty times a day. After all, why have a "shook hands with a friend I ran into" loophole.

Amen to that. Doctors treat symptoms instead of cures, so often. There are nightmare stories about giving diabetics glucose before surgical procedures to “prevent” low blood sugar, then giving patients insulin to lower the too high blood sugar they caused in the first place!
What happened to “Physician, heal thyself”??
