Yeh I don’t want him as VP but he does have the temperament to go after all the corruption that is going to have to be cleaned out of every agency of govt. Crispy is a good prosecutor.

I have been predicting a future Mike Pence Presidency for some time now. I’ve always been a fan of this guy. He would be an excellent choice.

A Gingrich Chief of Staff sounds good to me as well assuming Newt would take the job.

Santorum won 11 states in 2012 primaries; Quayle dropped out in 1999 before any primary was held.

There is no perfect choice for running mate, and plenty of really imperfect ones. If he’s going to go for a white guy, I would prefer Tom Cotton. That said, Pence is acceptable to both the Tea Party and Establishment wings of the party, which has to be high on Trump’s list of criteria.

He’s a full-term Governor.

If Mittens picked Christie it would have been a victory for him. Ryan was a bad choice. Low energy numbers guy.

I won’t be shocked if it’s Christie. I think Trump was really impressed with Christie’s debate takedown of Rubio. I just don’t think it’s going to be him.

You may be right but if I’m in a battle I want Christie on my side. The guy can be a bear.

Wimp factor. Brings nothing to the ticket. It does worry me that Trump would even consider him. YIKES, of all the many choices.... Mike Pence? I just don’t see it.

Christie cream is too damn liberal.

It would scare all the conservatives sitting on the fence who already think Trump is not conservative enough.

Christie would not bring anything to the table except maybe eat everything on the table. Although Coulter would be ecstatic.

I just said he’s BAD on 2A issues and worse, he declared openly as U.S. Attorney he didn’t consider illegals to be criminals. I don’t want that fat load anywhere near the position of AG. BTW, he’s put a Mohammadan on the bench, too. Bad across the board.

I think any conservative sitting on the fence at this point can pound sand.

There are some excellent choices. The media keeps bringing up crap ones (Zero’s Cuddle Buddy, Pence the Wimp, Newtie). How about Gov. Greg Abbott of TX ? Sen. Cruz is a top choice. Gov. Paul LePage of ME. Gov. Pat McCrory of NC.

Mike Pence, the one who threw Christian pizza shop owners to the gay wolves? You mean THAT Mike Pence?

Please, do we need another white guy on the ticket?

It's that kind of affirmative action thinking that got the country in the mess it's in. We need someone who has a great deal of legislative success. We need someone who is a proven leader and has some positive outcomes on the national stage.

Most folks are sick of the pandering. We just want the US saved. If it takes two old white guys to get the job done, that's okay.

You kind of have a point, but not in the "diversity" way that the left means.

A Ben Carson would solidify the rejection of the uniparty politics and provide a compelling reason for blacks to consider the Republican ticket. Plus, he's fairly conservative, to provide a little more balance to Trump.

What about Dan Quayle?

I'm still a potatoEhead and pretty disgusted by the way the nomination was bought for GWB. Quayle was the absolute master of foreign policy and diplomacy as VP, but he's been out of the game for quite some time. I'd love to see him working with foreign policy.
