I don’t have a low opinion of her, I say she is too green and has (as yet) not done anything to justify considering her for VP. This contradicts Trump’s claim to be looking for someone with experience for the position. That’s merely stating a fact. It’s possible he’s vetting her for a Cabinet Secretary post (such as at Agriculture, which would suit her skills set).
I talked with someone who flew back from Bangor to NYC with Trump & Ernst was talked about as being in the mix for VP. Trump spoke highly of her to this individual. Whatever happens....let’s hope the pick has good value.
I voted for him in Texas for Senate but never again. I’m still Cruzin Texas but not with Ted.

Well hopefully if you are in TX you can keep Cruz in his Senate seat because his chances of ever becoming President are practically nil. His shameful performance in this year’s primary is not going tone forgotten.
You know where I’m from. I’d swap him for my two RINO Senators in a heartbeat. I categorically reject his performance was “shameful” as well. He entered the race ahead of Trump as the Conservative standard bearer and then was expected (by some) to just get out for Trump and he wouldn’t do it. If anything, by not getting out early, he improved Trump as a candidate for the general (and helped to run out the REAL RINO Socialist trash). Trump should consider that a positive.
Completely agree! If he's going to run as an outsider (and he is) it seems to hurt his cause to pick a political hack.

No, sweetie. Read my posts. I endorsed Cruz, but never opposed Trump, let alone attempted to undermine him. I favor the ticket of Trump-Cruz and have for months. So sorry to disappoint you.

Honey buns, I’ve been here at FR a decade longer than you. I was here helping lead the charge against Willard, McQueeg and the other RINO scum since day #1. I’ve seen the trolls (paid or otherwise) and the other mindless cheerleaders come and go, some of their own accord, some by riding the White Lightning, but I’m still here. Why I even had the unmitigated nerve to deplore the infighting between both the Trump and Cruz camps so that we wouldn’t be weakened for the fall. Imagine that.

I endorsed Cruz, but Trump won a hard-fought battle. Any attempts to undermine his legitimacy as the nominee I summarily reject. He also demonstrates an interest in wanting to win, unseen in a GOP Presidential nominee in 3 decades. That’s another reason why opposing him would only serve Hillary’s purposes.
I mostly stayed out of the Cruz/Trump issues. Though I share the concerns of many out here on the way Cruz behaved. In any event it’s in the past...
There were people on both sides that acted utterly deranged. Unfortunately, some still won’t let go of the proverbial butthurt.
It doesn’t matter what color a person’s skin is, water matters is that TRUMP picks the most QUALIFIED person for the job.
