Sounds like BS to me. She accepted the meeting... that’s what counts. Someone is trying to do damage control and try and make us think she’s suddenly become honorable.

But .. she was supposedly the possessor of a “stellar reputation” from her days in the lower courts.

Are we now to believe that her former reputation is in question .. and that this meeting with Bill was done to expose her fallibility ..??

Well .. larger than life people can suddenly have a “crashing to earth” moment.

And, if this meeting was to show how she was willing to play both sides of the situation; I think Billy succeeded.

And, it points out to me .. that her appointment by Clinton (in the first place), was a “the fix is in” moment. Did Billy appoint her on that condition .. should Hillary ever need her .. she would be at Billy’s beck and call ..??
