yes, but on Hillary Clinton’s terms. All we have is a vague “meeting” and the attorney general issuing a BS accepting of the report but changing nothing about her right to politically bury the report.

What was the FBI doing there ?????
SS maybe but why the FBI

I bet AG Loretta's security detail is FBI and not SS.

I also bet they used the old “National Security” excuse for no pictures. Don't want to give out details of the private jet ramp to terrorists, don't ya know.../S

The bastard Obozo had better not dare to go there......

I have no doubt he will.

Who will (or can) stop him?

“FBI ordered ‘no photos, no pictures, no cell phones’ during Clinton/Lynch meeting”

In public you have no expectation of privacy and the airfield is a public venue, ergo, take as many pictures as you want.

The ramp (aircraft operations) are of an airport is specifically NOT a public area. Security gates, escorts and badges needed.

It should have been more clear.

If photos prohibited outside the wire then all those “plane spotter” hobbyist ware breaking the law and all those people in the pull-over areas at runways end and watching the traffic on the ramp or on final are prohibited and breaking the law.

Public view is public view and you can’t stop people from taking pictures of people, events or things that are in the public view. Many of these plane spotters are serious people and with zoom lenses that are powerful. And I’d like to see a unilateral call for no photos be enforced on those outside the wire. Not going to happen. On a base, yes, but still, can’t stop them if they are outside the wire, regardless.

Cheers

Disappointing about the FBI. Just wondering what Loretta Lynch wore for the meeting.

The reports seem to indicate that it was at Cutter Aviation. If so there is not much “trough the fence” plane spotter view.

If private field they can decide to take photos or not by themselves. They are not bound by some federal agent that has no authority over the field.

If public field, federal agents have no unilateral authority either.

The airport manager could act on his own discretion to follow of not follow federal agent directive about photos.

To presume federal agents have unilateral power to ban photos of something happening in plain view is something I can’t see as a legitimate use of power—and it is not either.

Even more to the point, why didn’t these spineless reporters and photographers simply ignore the “orders” from the FBI and take photos and make audio recordings? FBI has no authority to forbid that! What would’ve happened? Would they have assulted the journalists? Really? And imagine the furor if they did. Think it would come back hard on Lynch if she ordered the agents to get all goon squad to crush First Amendment rights? I do. These journalists pussed out.

You are spot on, FRiend.

They should have goaded the FBI goons into throwing punches and smashing cameras. A Pulitzer would be waiting for each of the victims.
