Donald Trump held a campaign rally in Bangor Maine yesterday. For some odd reason the U.S. national media didn’t quite share the scope of the support he found there...

I know I will get a 1001 FR experts to tell me this cannot be and we are doomed, but 73 M voting for Trump gives him a pretty big landslide. In 2008 69 M voted for Obama with all the excitement. In 2012 66 M voted for Obama.

I seriously doubt Hillary can beat Obama's numbers.

I also did a guestimate as to how many people would vote for Trump this time around with a back of the envelope calculation. Trump has 20 million followers on social media and that number goes up by 1 million per month now. I assume those 20 million know at least 3 other people who are like minded who will vote for him. That comes to 80 million people. Not too far from this projection.

By November Trump will have well in excess of 25 million followers and probably closer to 30 million. If you apply the same principle that those 30 million know 3 other people then the numbers are dizzying. Even if you assume that not all of trumps followers necessarily will vote for him I believe I saw recently that an analysis of his followers showed 80% were for Trump.

No matter how you slice this, by October it will appear as if Trump is running unopposed and the word landslide will be the word used the most to describe his candidacy.

It is nice to be confident, but we must fight as if our country depends on it.

Because it does.

What’s intriguing that Trump may get several million who haven’t voted in a long time or never have to come out for him.

Bangor is in the second CD in Maine which has become more & more conservative over time; they just elected a republican to the U.S. House. What’s of interest is that if Trump loses the state of Maine, but wins the Second CD he still gets 2 of Maine’s 4 EVs. There’s a better than even chance he can pull this off which is why he’s way up north there yesterday.

Pray, pray, pray, without ceasing, every day, that God will grant us the grace and mercy to have President Trump instead of President Clinton so our nation will turn around.

They will try to suppress the military vote again. Last time, they didn’t mail the ballots out in time and the ballots that came back weren’t opened if I remember correctly.

Hillary won’t come close to Obamas numbers, and Trump is going to win this big.

This is blindingly obvious to anyone remotely paying attention, but pundits either have to pretend this is going to be a race so they can keep eyeballs and paychecks.... or they truly live inside of echo chambers and are just completely incapable of recognizing what is going on in the world.

All you need to do is look around, Trump crushed 16 or 17 opponents handily.. he crushed them all... Hillary couldn’t take out the biggest joke of a candidate the Democrats could find.. yes she won, but she was still losing to this guy in places up until the very end. He should have been gunk on the bottom of her shoe by March...

Look at the turnout... look at the political stances... Hillary is on the wrong side of things today... She’s an establishment shill that represents everything that is wrong with our politics today... she is inauthentic as hell, has no natural charisma, no inate talent or ability.

She’s going to be demolished in the fall, the question isn’t will Hillary lose, but by how much she will lose by.

The BEST she can hope for is maybe 15 states and about 180 EC votes.. more realistically she’ll probably carry 10 or less, and 100ish EC votes... and honestly it could wind up even worse than that.

I have never understood why people always equate confidence with weakness. Trump has a lot going for him including massive support from main street that will give him a landslide.

After watching Trump for a year, do you honestly believe he will leave things to chance or squander his advantage. If we follow through and fight like hell, this election is ours.

Hope you are not one of the 1001 who is running around preaching doom when victory is right there for the taking.

Well said.

As far as the media goes, it’s all about paychecks and ratings and nothing more.

I’m warning against overconfidence. If everyone is so sure that Trump has it in the bag that they slack off, they don’t donate or help out, they don’t vote—we’re in trouble.

It’s great to be confident. Confidence inspires people.

I cannot participate in a campaign because of my job, but if it were legal to do so, I would be working on the campaign. As it is, I donate because that is all I can do.
