Islamist Teen Pleads Guilty to Kangaroo Pouch Bomb Plot

In January an Aussie Islamist teen was arrested for planning an ISIS kangaroo bomb attack.

The teen planned to paint a kangaroo with the ISIS flag, fill its pouch with bombs and let it loose on Aussie police on Anzac Day.

On Thursday Sevdet Besim pleaded guilty to the kangaroo bomb plot.

The Daily Star reported:

An Australian teenager accused of discussing packing a kangaroo with explosives and setting it loose on police is facing life behind bars after pleading guilty Thursday to planning a terrorist act.

Sevdet Besim was arrested in Melbourne last year when he was 18 and accused of planning to run down police officers with a car, behead them and then shoot other people at an April 25 Anzac Day parade for Australia’s soldiers.

He pleaded guilty to one charge of “doing an act in preparation for or planning a terrorist act”, a Supreme Court of Victoria spokeswoman told AFP, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison.

A British boy, who was 14 when accused of masterminding the plot via encrypted messages with Besim from his home in northern England, became his country’s youngest person convicted of terrorism when sentenced to five years in jail last year.

Australia chose to have episodic Islamic terrorism when they allowed Islamic immigration.

They are not nearly as bad off as places like France or the doomed Belgium. Australia, by contrast, has sensible policies regarding “refugees”. Nonetheless, they have allowed a fair bit of Islamic immigration, which as it does everywhere, has resulted in terrorism.

The kangaroo bomb plot sounds like a prank, like a kid trying to be silly.
Running down and beheading police, shooting up a military parade—not amusing at all.
The poorly written story says the kid pled guilty only to the kangaroo part.
Something doesn’t add up here.

Makes me wonder if the authorities realized they’d been punked by the kangaroo tale, then fabricated additional charges which could be conveniently dropped, in order to railroad the kid and cover their own butts.
