(NEWS) - Today, Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) picked out new curtains for his Senate office. “These ought to last another six years.”
The Founding States had constitutionally prohibited both the federal and state governments from establishing privileged / protected classes which is predictably the misguided purpose of legislation that will be introduced by such lawmakers.
Article I, Section 9, Clause 8: No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States [emphasis added]: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.
Article I, Section 10, Clause 1: No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility [emphasis added].
Also bear in mind that the only sex-related right that the states have amended the Constitution to expressly protect is voting rights as evidenced by the 19th Amendment.
So when pro-LGBT activist states start making laws which use constitutionally unprotected pro-LGBT “rights” to trump constitutionally enumerated rights like religious expression, as such states have already been doing, then such states are unthinkingly violating Section 1 of the 14th Amendment imo.
14th Amendment, Section 1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States [emphasis added]; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
And one more thing about Misty Manjaw - note in the Trib photo *shudder* s/he bites her nails down to the quick, which strongly indicates she is nervy and easily frazzled. Cakewalk.
