Virginia Man Accused of Tweeting Threats to Shoot Senators

A Virginia man who works as an Uber driver tweeted threats to shoot at least two U.S. senators, according to testimony at a hearing Monday in a Virginia court. Kyler Schmitz has been ordered held in jail.
In at least one of the tweets, sent in the days immediately after the Orlando nightclub shooting, Schmitz allegedly threatened to shoot Sen. Roy Blunt, a Republican of Missouri. The message was directed at Blunt's official Twitter handle.
The tweets, which included graphic and violent language, led to an investigation by U.S. Capitol Police.

In other Twitter posts, Schmitz is accused of threatening groups of members of Congress by writing, "I can't wait to shoot you in the face one by one."

Without thinking too deeply on possible consequences for threatening to shoot a Senator I think such threats warrant investigation not a criminal indictment.

He should have claimed to be an ISIS member and the Senators on his hit list. That way the FBI, DHS and every other fed alphabet would do nothing. Not bothered to have alerted the Senators. Nothing at all.
Maybe he'd even get an invite to the white hut for a ramadan circle jerk with reggie and the enormously endowed lizard lady.

Sounds like a series threat....
A few who are already not wrapped any too tight have been seen rushing the stage and gotten knocked down in the process. Sooner or later somebody is going to get really close, and The Donald will be forced to take personal evasive action.
