“Most violence occurs at home. So why not? Home invasions are the most violent of all violent crimes.”

Is there a higher incidence of home owners using a firearm to defend their family from a home invasion, or is there a higher incidence of a firearm in the home being accidentally discharged in the home causing death or injury, a gun used for a suicide or used during a family argument that results in injury or death?

You sound like a liberal that thinks the mere presence of guns results in wild accidents.

Try researching crime and firearm accident rates instead of just making wild-assed assumptions based on your fear and ignorance.

The fact is more people protect themselves using guns than are harmed by guns accidentally by a large margin.

Suicide is rarely by firearm. Suicides are by overdose and strangulation. I know, the wife runs mental hospitals and I wrote the behavioral health programs for the State of Colorado.

More children die from drowning in 5 gallon buckets than die from firearms every year. Do you question the presence of 5 gallon buckets in homes?

More children die each year from falls, such as falling down stairs than die from firearms each year. Do you question the presence of stairs?

Thousands of children die from car accidents each year. Do you question the use of cars with children?
