With a population of 26,672, East St. Louis can barely be considered a city. More like small town.
I sure would like to see a time series data set for Baton Rouge. I went to college, then lived and worked there from 1965 to 1993, and it certainly wasn’t that bad. I can only surmise that much of the criminal class that got “cockroach-flooded” out of New Orleans by Katrina settled down in BR.
