All of your suggestions are good but it should not be just one drug test before they are elected. Make all congressmen and gov employees take regular drug tests. If they don't pass kick them out.

I see no reason at all why your suggestion shouldn’t be incorporated... it’s brilliant.
WEEKLY drug testing. And before voting on ANY law as well, so that we can be sure these asswipes aren’t stoned when making law....
And as for kicking them out - absolutely. And a Federal Marshall waiting for them outside the doors to escort them to the Big House for fraud, malfeasance, and criminal drug use.
I mean, they PASSED those laws criminalizing drug use, right?
Good for the goose... good for the panderers, err, ganders...

I like the idea of drug testing Congress (and the President, Barry has admitted to snorting coke), but it would require a constitutional amendment.
