Tom Tancredo: Oath to Defend America Made Optional Because It Could Reduce Muslim Immigration
Breitbart ^ | 27 Jun 2016 | John Hayward

Former Congressman Tom Tancredo joined SiriusXM host Stephen K. Bannon on Breitbart News Sunday to discuss Tancredo’s latest column for Breitbart News, “Obama Invites 18.7 Million Immigrants to Avoid Oath of Allegiance, Pledge to Defend America.” Tancredo explained that, in July of 2015, the US Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS, sometimes shortened by Tancredo to USIS) “decided there was part of the Oath of Allegiance that has been taken by millions, and millions, and millions of immigrants into this country. It’s the last thing they have to do before actually getting their citizenship” that should be made optional. It was the part of the oath in which immigrants promised, “If called upon, I will indeed take up arms to defend the United States of America.”

it is obvious we will have to export all the Obama Muslim IslamoNazi enemy invaders anyway, they’ve been taught from birth to hate Christians and the west, and all infidels, and to invade just this way.....and then to terrorize attack against us just like they are doing.... and eventually to subjugate us (made much easier for them by all the SELLOUT TRAITORS in WashDC)

so Mr Trump’s moratorium makes good sense

The problem is, the executive branch is obligated to enforce the laws. Obama simply ignores them: federal law doesn’t allow immigrants to pick-and-choose what they will swear or affirm.

Impeachment is the only remedy for a lawless president.

“If they didn't pledge, then they're not citizens. They therefore have no rights of citizenship and can be deported.
Anybody else see this as a win/win?”

Obama changed the rules. They no longer need to pledge to defend America to become citizens. They are considered citizens and entitled to the benefits of citizenship even if they do not pledge to defend America.

Impeachment is the only remedy for a lawless president.

Which won't be implemented by an emasculated, afraid to impeach the Black man, RINO Congress

Typical Breitbart. The policy has always been to provide exemptions to the military service provisions for conscientious objectors. Think Mennonites.

This change just clarified the requirements to be granted the exemption.

“Typical Breitbart. The policy has always been to provide exemptions to the military service provisions for conscientious objectors. Think Mennonites.

This change just clarified the requirements to be granted the exemption.”

From the article:

“It’s Muslims from sharia-adherent countries. It’s obvious as the nose on your face, is it not?”

“Absolutely. It is the only conclusion to which I have come, and I think the only conclusion to which most people can come,” Tancredo replied, adding:

Because there is no other reason. Nobody demanded it. No Congressman wrote them and said, “You know, this is really an imposition on people to do; please stop it.” No, this is a decision they made themselves because as the Muslim immigration population grows into this country, this may be something that would reduce the numbers, you know, if people actually had to do that.”

Do you really think Obama is worried about “Mennonite” immigrants?

The Muslims that Obama wants to pay to bring to the United States hate America and want to destroy it. Many will never pledge to defend America. They are committed to destroying America.

That is the reason for the change.

It is not because Obama suddenly became worried about Mennonite immigrants.

No, I don't think he's worried about any particular immigrants - that's why he didn't change the long-standing policy.

Tancredo's speculation doesn't change the facts.

“No, I don't think he's worried about any particular immigrants”

The Muslims from the middle east that Obama is spending taxpayer money to bring to the U.S. are NOT immigrants.

They will not assimilate. They do not love America or want to be a part of America. They do not believe in American values like freedom of religion and freedom of speech. They will not defend America.
