It is necessary to state at the outset that I despise Neo-Nazis. But that does not mean that I approve of violent attacks on them as they peacefully exercise their rights to free speech. And that seems to have been what happened in Sacramento yesterday, despite media reports that report violence erupts and other such passive voice euphemisms that obscure the difference between perpetrator and victim. An important caveat is that I was not there and am relying on both reading between the lines of media reports and on local Sacramento talk radio.

liberals beating up on other liberals. Sounds like a good thing to me. A house divided wont stand.
Bottom line: Police have been ordered not to restrain dark skinned “protesters” or the white millennials that accompany them. Black Lives Matter, Occupy Wall Street and other Leftist groups are protected by the Democratic Party.
Both the Neo Nazis and the Communists are nuts. Period.
Socialists attacking socialists.
I hate Illinois nazis
Many FReepers are familiar with counter-protesting leftist events. The right way to do it is to comply with local regulations and avoid direct contact with the “targets.”
However, I observed the “peace protestors” entering our permitted area and physically assaulting our people. This is to be expected from the Left.
Well yeah. It’s okay for them to do this because they’re all for “just-us”. Everytime I see one of these assclowns with their black masks or “V” mask, my blood boils. Why are you afraid to show your face assclown? What are hiding?
Exactly. It just comes down to labeling someone as “Nazi” and it is OK to attack them.
But Nazis holding a demonstration and expecting to NOT be attacked is just foolish. It’s like holding an anti-violence rally in the inner city and being surprised when someone busts a cap.
What was the purpose of the rally? Robert Byrd’s birthday?
The “Traditional Workers Union” (or something like that) but referred to in other stories as “neo-Nazi” had received a permit to demonstrate on the capital grounds. There were over two dozen who showed up and met by several hundred people protesting their demonstration. This second group was dressed mostly in black, many wearing masks. This group had red flags like the anarchists we see in Europe and carried placards denouncing neo-Nazis and white supremacy. Several witnesses called this masked bunch “anarchists.” The anarchists were attacking the demonstrators. Yesterday on FR there were photos and videos, mostly from a Sacramento Bee reporter named Wong. Police were active trying to stop the mayhem as evidenced in the videos. The FR stories said seven were hospitalized for knife injuries,, some were serious. From watching the posted videos it looked like the anarchists were the aggressors.
Traditional Workers Union
Physical violence against people peacefully expressing an idea, no matter how repugnant the idea, is wrong, and should not be tolerated. And once again the police who were present didn't seem to do much to stop the violence.
I’ve occasionally observed that when met with a racially mixed group of rioters bearing down on you that shooting the white ones first might increase the chance of hitting an actual communist or anarchist as opposed to a mere bigot.
Naturally, in a real self defense situation you wouldn’t get to pick and choose like that and it would be best to start with those closest to inflicting harm on you personally.
Still, between bigots and communist the latter are worse to have around ... not that the former are any good.
Condoning the violence of this is condoning violence against the right.
Sometimes the GOP/right is its own worst enemy.
Remember: the same people who labeled these protesters as "neo-Nazis" will not hesitate to label Free Republic as such if it suits them. (In fact the SPLC did put FR on it's "hate watch" list or something a long time ago, but JimRob sued them and was taken off. But, the intent was there.)
Things you will not see in videos:
* pictures of Hitler
* Swastikas
* any other overtly Nazi iconography.
* Klan hoods and robes
* burning crosses
* other Klan iconography.
One can also go to their web-site where they describe their mission (again without any reference to Nazi's, Hitler or use of Nazi symbols).
ABOUT TRADITIONALIST WORKER PARTY
The Traditionalist Worker Party is Americas first political party created by and for working families. Our mission is defending faith, family, and folk against the politicians and oligarchs who are running America into the ground. We intend to achieve that goal by building a nationwide network of grassroots local leaders who will lead Americans toward a peaceful and prosperous future free from economic exploitation, federal tyranny, and anti-Christian degeneracy.I'm sure I don't agree with their positions or presentation, but that doesn't mean I'm going to sit here and left the far-left label them as "Nazis" and then attack and beat them and equate the two sides. That's well beyond being mis-informed or supporting moral-relativism, and well into being a mind-numbed robot of the Left Media and allowing their false mind-memes to pollute my critical thinking.We have a docket of candidates preparing to run in upcoming local races, but TradWorker is less about the candidates and campaigns than it is about building relationships of loyalty and support at the neighborhood and community level. We will help you, your family, and your town while the other parties are fighting a thousand miles from home over how to help (or bomb) people ten thousand miles from home.
In general any time you hear a group described as neo-Nazi the best response is extreme skepticism and checking your wallet. Someone is probably trying to convince you of something.
Meanwhile the anarchists who attacked them are described with the utterly mild and neutral term "counter-protesters", not as "violent Black Block Anarchists", which is what their iconography and flags demonstrate.
You're being manipulated by the MSM if you buy into all this.
One video clearly shows the left wing nuts trying to
prevent local NBC affiliate, KCRA, from filming. Any time
the lefties don’t want their faces on TV you know that
they must be up to something pretty damn agregious.
