So at least six out of ten scots are fools, because spain has already said they’d blackball the entry of an independent scotland into the EU. the last thing EU needs is a socialist “nation” that’s been living off of the rest of the UK to enter the EU with an economic position 50 times worse than Greece. An “independent” scotland would be an instant pauper nation with its begging bowl out to all other nations.

The EU would never let Scotland in, there are too many regional areas that would also want to seccede from their parent nations. The catalans, the basques, the northern Italians etc etc.

Scotland and Northern ireland are heavily subsidized by England and Wales who would be delighted to cast off those millstones around their economic necks.

The Scotsmans finest prospect is still the high road to England.
