There is no reason to distrust vaccine makers. Do you really think they are out to harm children? We come into contact with all sorts of things every day - mercury, lead, arsenic - there is nothing 100% pure on earth.
Yes. They are in business to make money. I look at them with the same amount of skepticism as any other business trying to sell me something and would be remiss in my duty if I just accepted their "authority" or anyone else's "authority" with a healthy amount of skepticism and weighing risks/benefits. I don't care what "science" it's based on. Follow the money.
