Yes, I agree with you except for the debates. I see no growth with Trump. He doesn’t seem to be able to articulate policy any more today than he did one year ago. So, I expect the debates to basically be nothing more than 100 versions of she is a world class liar, cheat and corrupt criminal who should be in jail. I agree with that and it should be said, but it would be nice if he could articulate policy better.

Banning terrorists requires sophisticated articulation?
Protecting American manufacturing requires sophisticated articulation? Would the American voter engage the attention level it would require to understand it?
When Roosevelt ordered the D-Day invasion, did he actually engage in the planning and explain it all to the population?
Was Roosevelt an integral part of the Manhatten Project when he ordered it to be done? Could he have articulated it?
You may have the wonk temperament to get into the weeds on policy implementation, but I can assure you most voters do not.
