But now that Britain has stunned the world with its decision to exit the European Union, experts say it will be focused inward for the foreseeable future.
“I don’t think there will be the capacity or the infrastructure to look outward in the next five years,” said Ian Kearns, director of the London-based European Leadership Network. “With all our diplomatic resources focused on extracting concessions from the E.U., we won’t be in anything other than reactive mode on other issues.”

Forget not that they “stays” are unwilling to concede any anything. They didn’t get the result they wanted so of course it’s their right to stage a do-over.
Of course the “we won, you lost” argument doesn’t work on them because atop their shiny and morally superior pedestals of arrogated arrogance, we are the stupid unwashed and are incapable of plotting our own destinies, much less the operation of our nation. No, what is needed is the appointment of an unaccountable class of elites not elected by the aforementioned unwashed; dedicated to sucking as much grift out of the system as they can while the people of formerly diverse and formerly independent nations struggle to live up to the utopian ideals of the well-educated. This while they pay locally for the social costs of the imposition of unlimited immigration and while they pay for the remote imposition of endless classic Soviet-style restrictions of price controls and quotas and the like.
There is no directorship or person of current “stature” (other than Farage, Dellingpole, and perhaps a dozen others whose names escape me but ALL of whom are in “Brexit the Movie” ....not unlike our own Congress) that you will ever, ever hear from in support the “exit” vote because exactly like the global warming/climate change debate, ALL of the money and ALL of the “peer-reviewed” blather is on the other side. It is no more complicated than that.
Most folks don't realize how small England is.
My guess is the Brits were in a tough situation. It wouldn't take much more of an influx to obliterate England. Look at London.

Are they still officially known as Great Britain? I thought they dropped that right during the 80s.
I think you misunderstood my post. I was agreeing with England leaving the EU. It’s a much smaller country than most of us realize, and it wouldn’t take much more for it to totally lose its individual identity.

London is still the financial capital of the world and now Brussels gets no taxes off of that. Old money runs very deep in England.
I would like to see a North Atlantic alliance of sorts, excluding most of the Scandinavians countries. Perhaps just the Danes.

Scottland and Ireland are not so aggressive towards England as in the past. I don’t see that the future is so dire for England for the UK does break up.
