Honestly, I agree with you. I do not think teachers and shrinks should be informants. On the other hand, I do think sometimes they might be neglectful if they don’t speak up, Imagine a shrink dealing with a nutcase each week, and while in her care, he discovers Islam and goes deeeeeeep, and she finds out along the way that he is agreeing more and more with jihad, and has started collecting weapons. Also, imagine a teacher of a little girl who has had many bruises and even a few broken bones this year, all from “falling off my bike” - the girl is timid and clearly afraid of her parent.

So I am a bit torn. I don’t want a terror attack happening when the shrink could smell it coming, or one day to hear that girl was killed by her dad.

Shrinks are already compelled to warn authorities when a patient expresses an intent (I believe imminent) to kill a human. However, where is the line drawn on what is to be deemed dangerous? Each shrink has their own opinion on that. So the shrink has a bad day, and on the list goes a patient with opposing political views, or who owns a gun, or is anti-homo, etc. We see this in the IRS targeting conservatives, and it STILL is not corrected.

CPS is another example of too much power in the hands of individuals. They can ruin your life, or in the least cost tens of thousands of dollars to fight any wrongdoing by the CPS person. As a government agency, immunity kicks in and lawsuits are unlikely as well. Far too many libidiots currently in these positions. There needs to be an inexpensive and expeditious way to fight any injustices in so many of these types of processes.
