Calais has had a huge problem with refugee camps. As I understand, they’re obligated by the EU to control migration through the Chunnel into Britain. There would be no EU obligation if Britain leaves, is what this mayor is saying. He would prefer not to have the problem, himself.

Only by reason that the camp in Calais is the last stop in French territory, before the transients become Britain's problem. France will now have to take action to stop the wave entering, destined for Britain, which they merrily supported, before it became their permanent problem.

London—the western terminus of the Eurostar (Chunnel Train)—the invasion beachhead. The other end is in Brussels Belgium, where the problem originates. Just refuse the shipment, and return it to sender!
