Vox Notes Cluelessness of Oxford Students on Brexit Vote
NewsBusters ^ | June 24, 2016 | P.J. Gladnick

The shocked reaction of Oxford University students to the Brexit vote yesterday was notable for the fact that they were so firmly esconced in their liberal bubble that even Vox took note of their extreme divorce from reality. As we shall see, it never even occurred to them that (gasp) the vote would be to leave Brexit. In fact the Oxford students clueless reactions to the vote were so laughable that the [Max Cady laugh] in the brackets will be employed where necessary to set the proper tone. To refresh your memories, Max Cady was a character in the movie Cape Fear.  So just click the link in the brackets whenever you see it to hear his distinctive laugh as portrayed by Robert DeNiro in the remake.

One of the morons said the older people voted to leave but would not be around to face the consequences.

The idiot is too stupid to realize that they WERE around pre-EU and know how great it was.

They were lucky. Another few years and there would have been too many stupid people to ever break free of the EU.

I read once that OXFORD was named after the stream of water
flowing through the complexes of colleges. The stream
really was just that - an OX-FORD - where the stream was
shallow enough for a herd of oxen to be able to FORD the
stream. I imagined something more - academic & high minded.
Also, our son graduated from Oriel College at Oxford
University & found himself being expected to pay for drinks
at the pubs around there because he was a “rich” American.

Rothwell added: "Imagine a world where Boris Johnson and Donald Trump are making the most important political decisions."

These simpletons tell us, by their votes that they are incapable of running their own lives. How? Because they repeatedly support candidates who promise to spend more support money for living expenses and health care to benefit the tender, incompetent snowflakes. Democrats and leftists tell us by their votes that they consider themselves to be in need of care and supervision - they are children.

Why should these admitted infantile humans have a voice in the lives of people who want to get the government out of the way so that they can sink or survive based on their own efforts?

That is the contradiction in the explanation given by the remainers. On the one hand, they claim that the British people that voted to exit where all uninformed. On the other, they cite the age group that voted to exit were mostly older. So, people who have been adults longer decided that they wanted a better deal.

Also, it is claimed that they won’t even be around to deal with the consequences of their vote. The implication is that they are selfish. It is not being interpreted that they did it, not for themselves as they won’t be around, but for the good of their country.

As the old saying goes, “Youth is wasted on the young.”
