What kind of fools scream “ let us back in the EU.”? Even a child can see that the EU is headed towards the trash bin for many good and sane reasons.

Scottish liberals are “ascared” of their free stuff being cut off. They fear that they’ll have to produce more and won’t have funds to keep buying votes via a welfare state.

Let them vote and let them become part of the EU. The EU looks like its going to fall apart anyway. Germany can handle keeping things afloat for a little while, but when they grow sick of it and the whole house of cards collapses, European liberals are going to scurry into hiding for a long, long time. Euro-libs own the EU mess now more than ever ... if done right, this could help to expose the abject failure of socialism!

Scottish ones. Much to their eternal shame.

Scotland loves it’s socialism too much.

A crying shame that the land of my ancestors thinks likes this. I don’t understand the Scotland of today.

I’ll point out one curious thing....which most Scots may not realize.

Just because you are some independent country...applying for membership of the EU...does not mean an automatic open door.

Even if they run the election by October (what most believe will happen) and the results are verified by mid-October...they can submit the application to the EU, but it might be three years....maybe even five years before they are accepted by the 27 remaining states of the EU.

There is the possibility that several states will question the financial worthiness of Scotland, and you could add two to five additional years on top of the waiting period.

Same way for Northern Ireland and Wales...if they are curious about this opportunity.

As for London-City? Zero chance that the EU and the 27 member states will accept a city trying to enter under this method...it’ll never happen.

So, some folks might wake up by the fall after some frenzy of referendums and discover there just isn’t a big open door to the EU, and now what?
