Result, executive action clearly exceeding his Constitutional powers the produced the Cherokee “trail of tears” When President Jackson forceably relocated the Cherokee from Georgia to Oklahoma. Our own little Bataan death march.
Interestingly, today, the Cherokee are one of the few tribes that never surrendered their sovereignty to the Federal Government. Unlike the tribes that did so, Cherokee own their own land and businesses and are a prosperous people. Downtown Tulsa is partly on Cherokee tribal land.
OTOH, Tribes that surrendered their sovereignty are governed by the Bureau of Indian affairs and are among the most impoverished people in the US. The US government owns their land—the reservations. The tribes that did surrender it, were bribed to do so during the depression with federal money and food, conditional on the tribes surrendering sovereignty.
One more interesting note. The Cherokee as a group declared a death sentence on any tribal leader who surrendered their tribal sovereignty. This declaration was made in the late 17th century. Result, no Cherokee leader ever though giving up sovereignty was a very good idea.
Indian history has some excellent lessons for the liberty movement if we can take our “cowboys and indians” blinders off.

So Obama basically flips off the Supreme Court. He knows that he is above the law.

They are here illegally, they have already committed a crime. Send them home and make them come back in accordance with our immigration laws like everyone else who did it legally.
I’m pretty certain that the oath of office contains something about faithfully executing the laws of the United States.
Refusing to uphold the law is not exactly an “enforcement priority.”
