I remember watching a similar election in which I had no dog in the hunt. Years ago, Quebec voted on secession from Canada.
Election results were being presented by the excellent CBC News Reader Peter Mainsbridge and analyst Rex Murphy.
It was compelling to watch. At one point, only 400 votes separated the sides. I used that as my example on what to tell people when they say their vote doesn’t count.
Our city recently had an electoral tie. It took months to resolve. Had my college son bothered to get an absentee ballot, the tie would not have occurred. He learned his lesson and got absentee quickly for the primary.
Oh. If I could vote, it would be Leave
Heard from a friend that Leave is now leading by 706K votes - 51.6%
We had a tie vote in a local municipal election recently. Think they flipped a coin.
