The state declaring it has a ‘compelling interest’ in any subject is merely a pretext for ignoring the law.

Affirmative action was set up in order to provide a racial imbalance to make up for perceived discrimination in the past.

that's fine. So let's limit AA eligibility to those who can trace American ancestry back to oh, say, 1950. Why should recent arrivals of color from Europe, or Thailand, or Egypt or South Africa get AA preference when they haven't experienced ' discrimination' in the sense of American history?

Our own people assisting the ongoing conquest of the West.

Secondly, in the long run due to the innate stupidity of "The Diverse Ones" a college degree will become even more worthless. Our our once great academic institutions will become virtually worthless.

The real “compelling interest” is allowing elite liberals to feel good about themselves, regardless of the harm to others. Students who are admitted to universities based on criteria have markedly poor educational outcomes, in most cases, whether the criterion is skin color or athletic ability. The majority do not graduate. Those who do often have junk degrees that leave them unprepared for useful work. Also, they stimulate ongoing corruption of the educational process as grades are inflated and classes are dumbed-down or even non-existent (UNC).

Liberal self-congratulation is a compelling interest above all this.

Should read “based on non-academic criteria ...” in the second sentence.

Two can play this game. Our nation has a compelling interest to reject followers of Mohammed.

“Justice Kennedy: The State Has a Compelling Interest to Discriminate”

OK, fine: the gov’t may discriminate in favor of anyone who can prove that they were legally held as a slave in this country, and to discriminate against those whom it can prove held slaves legally in this country. Other than that, not so much.

My ancestors were being oppressed by the Czar of Russia while blacks were held as slaves here, and after they came to this country the were also discriminated against for quite a number of decades. But now, according to “Justice” Kennedy, my kids (born about 40 years AFTER the Civil Rights Act) have to bear the burden for something done TO people long since dead before my kids were born, BY other people who are also long since dead before my kids were born.

Phuck that, and phuck “Justice” Kennedy with a running chain saw.

Regardless of how dumbass Kennedy wishes to semantically parse his thoughts, it still is about race. In essence what he is saying is, “we’ve got enough of your kind around here, beat it, whitey!”

The state has a “Compelling interest” in disarming the citizenry. Fortunately, the Constitution prohibits it.

Any time the libs say “compelling interest” I read that as “we want to do this and we don’t need to explain why, and you’re a racist, bigot, sexist, homo-xeno-melano-phobic, bitter, clinging, mouthbreathing knuckledragger for asking!!”

Reverse genocide, aint it great. First Hutus vs Tutsies, now the opposite. Divide and conquer, completely illegal redistribution.

We now know with the terror attack in Orlando that terrorists hide behind affirmative action to empower themselves and get gun jobs in government.

So, yeah, state lead genocide and repression has a great interest in Affirmative Action to pad up its ranks with psychopath terrorists ready to murder men, mwomen and children.

All based on the pretense that diversity has some intrinsic value when the truth is quite the opposite.

I don’t know how you can avoid actually avoid diversity on college campuses. It’s impossible. This is nothing but naked discrimination against whites.

There was another case in which the Supreme Court declared there was a compelling interest to discriminate. It was called Dred Scott.

Anthony Kennedy, a Republican from California, was appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court by President Ronald Reagan on February 18, 1988. Kennedy currently serves as an Associate Justice, and was previously a U.S. Court of Appeals Judge for twelve years.

You surely are not calling President Reagan a liberal?
