The body of Orlando mass murderer Omar Mateen was quietly buried at a Muslim cemetery in south Florida, where one official said everyone is entitled to a resting place. Orlando Police identified the suspect in the Pulse Nightclub shootings as Omar Mateen, 29, a U.S. citizen born in New York. via Orlando Police
Mateen's father had told reporters his son was buried in accordance with Islamic tradition but would not say where. The death certificate filed late Wednesday revealed he was interred about three hours from Orlando.

The person listed as the director of the cemetery did not return calls for comment, and the man identified as the funeral director hung up on a reporter.
Another cemetery official said he was unaware of Mateen's burial. He called Mateen "a bad guy" but defended the decision to accept his remains, saying, "Everybody deserves a place and we don't know his side of the story so he is entitled to be buried like anyone else,"
The official said he did not expect the cemetery would face any problems because it took Mateen's body. Asked what would happen if the family of anyone else buried there objected, the official said, "Too late."

Devout.
A muslim cemetery? Are they saying they’re different from us? Are they saying it’s a “religious” difference? My, oh my! Too bad muslim cemeteries aren’t filling up faster.
Piss on a muslim’s grave and be arrested for a hate crime. Yet Islam is just a religion like any other religion.
“...his son was buried in accordance with Islamic tradition”
I thought they were supposed to in the ground within one day?
Should have buried the SOB in a pig pen.
I’ll leave some bacon on the grave.
Did his missing wife show up for the funeral?
Dig his ass up and hang him!
