I was in one two days ago (the largest firearm retail sales location in Texas). There were a few black guns still on the racks, but the stock was definitely depleted. Ammo, too.

Thanks for posting that. I have a couple of "traditional" ARs. Colts. However, one (6700) has no bayonet lug and the new LE 6920 has a "crimped barrel" which means regular bayonets do not fit.

Have been looking to get one I can sort of customize. Any idea how many manufacturers out there? Must be 100 or so making ARs!!

I stuck a nice little Armalite AR in layaway today on my lunch hour, $570OTD. Never been an AR guy, more AK/SKS/G3 guy but decided to buy one for strategic reasons down the road.

I figured the same thing so I binged them and looked around their site.

i found some build kits and uppers but I couldn't find one complete rifle or any indication that there had ever been a rifle on the whole site.

Sounded pretty fishy to begin with and now I sort of think that it's just another left wing lie.

Actually thought of the caliber issue down the road. If I need AK rounds down the road they may be scarce. If I need 5.56 or .223 they should be abundant.

I wish I knew a liberal to piss off with the AR purchase though! The shop had another one for the same price thinking about tossing it into layaway as well. Unless Trump wins in the fall AR’s are going to stay in the stratosphere price wise.
