Nonsense most all states have a Good Samaritan Law that protects people who help at accidents.
I’ll go tell my friends you said they’re liars. Oh....And just exactly WHY do you think it became necessary for those laws to exist, where they do, which is not Everywhere? That’s a rhetorical question, please don’t answer, I don’t like talking to pinheads.
Some states mandate that if you’re a medical professional and you render aid at an emergency, you may be held to the standard of care to which you were trained and licensed.
This is, of course, an impossible standard. Physicians and nurses don’t carry all the doctoring stuff around with them, although a rapid initial assessment done by a real expert can save a life.
I don’t recall offhand which states do this. It’s very bad policy.
