Obama Pushes Congress on Zika Money, but Questions Loom on Administration’s Response

Even as Congress seems to be moving closer to a resolution on funding a means to stop the spread of the Zika virus, the Obama administration is demanding more immediate action.

Yet, some critics say it is the administration, including President Barack Obama and Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell, that have failed to act strongly and is allocating disproportionate resources internationally when about 2,000 Zika cases have been reported in the United States.

More than half of the diagnosed cases have been in the territory of Puerto Rico, but also a significant number in Florida, New York, and California have also had a large number of diagnosed cases. The mosquito risk is also considered high in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

“Even as Congress seems to be moving closer to a resolution on funding a means to stop the spread of the Zika virus, the Obama administration is demanding more immediate action. “

The Obama administration might want to consider banning anyone who has Zika from entering the country. Or at least testing these ‘refugees’ for the virus.

They can’t spray. Environmental concerns. The Obama approach is to capture the mosquitoes, neuter or spay them and then release them.

Typical statists. Create or react to a problem by throwing money at it, which lines the pockets of the people supposedly working to resolve the problem, while the root cause of the problem continues and creates more problems down the road.

CDC just wants a bunch of slush funds. If it were not for the incompetent head of the CDC, the Zika crisis could have been averted by taking simple actions a year to 18 months ago. Instead the moron in charge of the CDC did nothing but play with himself and postulate possibilities and eventualities. In addition to Zika being part of the overall Agenda 21 plan, it was also a payback for Rio getting the Olympics instead of Chicago.

Between the hordes pouring over the border and all the people coming back from the Olympics, this could turn into a real disaster. People should be quarantined until it is demonstrated that they are not infected with Zika. Once our home grown mosquitoes are carrying this virus, it’s going to be a nightmare.
