No, you are correct, it’s just that the mechanism of having these “foundations” as funnels and channels for large-scale money laundering are not so regulated. They’re not regulated by much of anything. That’s precisely why, in the Clinton’s case, they were established and why they have acquired such jaw-dropping amounts of money.
