If John Lewis, Barack Obama, John Kerry, and people like that are for it, I am against it.
It is that simple. I admit it is orthodoxy.
People who subscribe to orthodoxy often means they are not thinking just accepting, but...I have to reserve my brain cycles for things that actually deserve it. And if it is true that you can judge someone by the company they keep (and it is true) then I can adopt an orthodoxy that says “Anything supported by an extreme left wing liberal that is being opposed by anyone with half a brain, may be dismissed out of hand as a bad idea.”
I say that because if even one person with half a brain opposes people like him, that means that at least there is a half a brain somewhere thinking critically about an issue.
this should pretty much be the conservatives guide to voting. If they're for it vote against it.
