In the history of being “white” Irish were initially excluded. Jews were excluded too. Melungeon is an interesting classification the seems to bounce around. Ultimately “white” seems to be cultural and ideals. As in “acting white”. Hispanic is another variable one.

Well the white culture certainly includes all of western Europe, the descendants here and the Jews. And European descendants in Australia and the ones that haven’t been massacred in Africa
