Interesting thought however, does Rand Paul have enough supporters to make a difference? Why wouldn’t they vote for the libertarian “ticket” in any case?

Fiscal Times is owned by Pete Peterson, former head of the Council on Foreign Relations. There’s an agenda, and not a good one.

“Governor Greg Abbot Texas”

That’s the smart choice, but give the governor a break and spell his name correctly.

Michael Flynn (retired Lt. General)............... He’d be better as the top of the ticket!

Sessions is the guy I want to see picked for Trump’s VP.

Sessions was early supporter of Trump and he knows Capitol Hill and is well liked in the Senate. He would be a asset to the Trump campaign and to a Trump administration.

Isn’t Jim Webb a Democrat? Stanley McCrystal? Seriously? Half those names are non sterters.

Sessions is too old and from the south. He doesn't help Trump's ticket at all. Since Trump can't raise money (hardly anyone will give him money) and it appears Trump may fund the rest of the campaign at $50 million while Hillary spends $1 billion, it is important that Trump picks someone who can help him electorally. Hillary has run 41,000 ads in June and Trump has run 150.

We know Trump is not ideological at all, which is why he immediately endorsed a gun control measure right after Orlando in which the NRA had to publicly rebuke him.

His VP will have to be nonSouth and a bit younger. That means Kasich or someone from another state in the Midwest. I can't stand Kasich, but if you have no money, you are going to have to do something to appeal to voters who don't like you. He will have to choose someone who knows how to get a bill passed, so it will have to be someone who has experience in Washington.

Posters have been pushing Pawlenty for president, on this site, for more years than I can remember an d he’ll NEVER be VEEP nor president. He brings less than NOTHING whatsoever to the ticket and is completely useless; no matter what YOU think of him.

Donald Trump, Jr. or Eric Trump. Both are very impressive.

Bob Corker: Sounds like a hillbilly. I’m shocked a U. S. senator speaks like that.

Newt Gingrich: Unfortunately he and Trump have 6 marriages and 4 ex-wives between them, which could turn off women. Didn’t Newt leave his first wife while she was battling cancer?

It tells us that whoever thought up this list is a complete and utter moron; one who neither understands politics nor the feelings of the Trump supporters.

Many loathe the Pauls and would be less inclined to vote for Trump is the lunatic Paul was on the ticket. And the the LOSERTARIANS have either own party ticket to vote for, so why should they vote for Trump, just because Rand is on it? THEY WON’T !

I suggest that you become more familiar with AMERICA N POLITICS! After JFK was assassinated, an ANTI-NEPOTISM Bill was passed and so, NO MEMBER OF A PRESIDENT'S FAMILY IS ALLOWED TO SERVE IN ANY CAPACITY, IN HIS ADMINISTRATION !

Also, was Ivana Trump an American citizen when any of her children were born?

It’s got to be Kasich. Like Trump he’s a principled conservative and he can win Ohio.
