Calamities are contrived and will increase.
Climate Change? Global Warming? That’s what the pansies who rule and ruin our lives, our nation and our economy will attempt to tack this onto.
Meanwhile, the San Andreas Fault is rumbling....

Yup. And the majority of the power from that dam goes to Kaliporinia. And try to tell this to a eff head from there.
That dam was designed for 4 generators on each side. They now have 6 or 7. And they wonder why Lake Mead is so low?
Lake Mohave, which is below and 12 miles from me, is at normal to high levels. Thing is, they havent put umpteen generators into that dam like they did with the Hoover Dam.
Not to mention, Las Vegas is a tad bit bigger than it was back in the day.

We live not too far from our Superintendant of Schools building for the city. Rode our bikes through their parking lot the other night and they have brand new carport type covers with solar panels on top over the whole parking lot.
It actually makes the parking lot better since the cars will be covered during the heat of the day. I’m sure they cost an arm and a leg though.
I’ll pony up a case of Shiner (Bock or Birthday, your choice) and a plate of enchiladas from Joe T Garcia’s.

I keep telling Ma .. It is time to sell this place and get the heck out of California.. But NOOooOOoo.. when her batteries run dry and she cant shop online anymore due to outages,, too bad.
