I just finished the book, and it was great. I especially liked the ending with the exchange between President Barry Soetoro and his top advisor (based on Valerie Jarrett)
One would hope so, but he has removed most of the top leadership for individuals who get his stamp of approval. So it's not a sure thing.
There has been a reverse purge going on for over a year now. Most of his leaders have been purged since the new JCOS Dunford took over. The #1 Obo Robot (Lt Gen John Lewis) got kicked out 1 month into Dunford’s tenure. They are kicking out Col, Lt Col, Major and Capt level enmasse right now.
And, in so doing, he 'suspends' his/her own legal authority as President. That's the legal reality there. Should any President of the United States attempt to alter the Constitution in any manner, outside of the amendment process outlined in said document, he/she then is waging war on the United States, which is one of the very definitions of Treason, under said document.
In short, it cannot be done, legally. Attempting to do so is not only Treason, it is a public statement that "might makes right". Now, how well do you think *that* will fly?
