Let’s get the terminology right: Byrne was never an “agent.” He was a uniformed White House cop that comes under the purview of the Secret Service. Agent = dark suit and Ray-Bans, such as those seen surrounding the limo.

I worked for USSS for 13 years. The Uniformed division is a division within the Secret Service. They actually spend more time at the White House than the agents.
