Homosexuality is all America means any more. I am proud of much (not all) of our history. I am not proud of my country. I do believe we still have some truly great Americans amongst us but those who rule are, in the majority, just plain evil.
In short, don’t expect to see me at 4th of July parades. The last one I went to, which used to be very patriotic, had a float of women with nothing but thongs on jiggling their butts, and, another one with a flaming homosexual wearing nothing but a gold lame speedo doing “yoga” poses (downward dog, anyone?)
I appreciate and respect the veterans who pass by but I won’t be attending any more such parades.
You should come to Fourth of July (and Memorial Day, and Veterans Day) parades in the tiny town where I live. All the good stuff, none of the bad stuff you mentioned.
The parades are front page news in our local paper.
Rodeos, biggest pumpkin, high school athletics, prize steers and hogs raised by the 4-H and FFA kids are always front page news, too.
Deer hunting season is a Very Big Deal around here.
People “identify” by who they’re related to and what church they attend.
I love it here. Feels almost like I’ve moved back to 1950.
“Homosexuality is all America means anymore.”
Good grief! After posting to you, above, I looked at your homepage.
You live in San Fran?? No wonder you think that.
America is still out here, though. Sounds like a road trip would do wonders for you. :-)
