Where Alberta is told to shut up — the same happens to Norway as part of the EFTA and not the EU and the same would happen to the UK if it left the EU — it would need to pay, shut up and follow the rules and have no say in the making of those rules. Right now it DOES have a say and it gets it’s way 98% of the time.
