I presume Dana Bash and John Dickerson failed to ask Lynch:
1) Who Seddique Mateen met with at the White House and State Department?;
2) Why the White House and State Dept met with Seddique?
3) Was the DoJ/FBI aware of Seddique’s association with the administration at the time Omar Mateen was being investigated for connections to terrorism? (How could they fail to be?)
4) Did the DoJ/FBI interview Seddique as part of investigating Omar? If not, why?
5) What was the nature of all contacts from the administration to the DoJ/FBI during the earlier FBI investigations of Omar Mateen?
6) What was the effect of those contacts on the investigations?
It is almost impossible to imagine that the FBI would fail to find out that their terrorism investigation target’s daddy was a White House/DoS visitor.
