He is the Labor alternative to the present PM. I just got back from Israel and discussed this topic at length with “government officials”. This article doesn’t mention how many will be in the “right to return”. Obviously, not nearly enough to to be Muslim majority, or even close to it. (Probably enough to give Labor a majority - sound familiar?). How will they be chosen? Big issues.
Even if the PM agrees ( they haven’t in the past to similar proposals) Hamas etc will not. Like with the Oslo Accords, there will be immediate terrorist attacks, Israeli “response”, and a breakdown of support on both sides.
