I wonder if the DNC is assuming that Hillary will die in offie and then the VP can become president. Perhaps Hillary is merely the convenient vehicle to get who they really want in the white house. Warren perhaps? Castro?

FDR put Truman in office for a very similar reason. Franklin KNEW he was dying when he ran for re-election in 1944, but it was a propaganda move. Couldn’t let the Axis Powers see a change of leadership in the middle of combat, especially to a leader of a contrasting political power.
